Jane is something else and she causes a lot of trouble, she ticked me right off! Jane puts the family home up as collateral when she needs to make bail, the home that Molly and her sisters paid off after Jane just about drained it dry with a reverse mortgage. Molly is the oldest and has been like a mother to her sisters, since their own mother, Jane, is a very selfish, flighty woman. So as much as I love Katie Ruggle I think I will skip the rest of this series. Then after failing on the romance front it ends with a cliffhanger and no closures. after that no more real romance just action. They didn't even share their first kiss til 82% then they jumped straight from their first kiss to one of the flattest sex scenes I have ever read. I'm sure it was meant to be cute but it just came off bitchy and annoying. The whole book Molly was prickly and combative. Top that off with the fact that there was not much romance to speak of and this book fell flat for me. I was so bored I kept putting it down and would try again a few days later and get bored within 10 mins of restarting. It took me over two weeks to get this book read. So when I seen In Her Sights on Netgalley and seen it was a start of a new series I was so excited, but this book was such a let down for me. I was over the moon for her Search and Rescue series.
