Looked down the socket every way and everything looks lined up. I took a tiny screwdriver and very slowly and gently bent them back perfectly. The PSU might now be powerful enough to sustain the power consumed by both the CPU and GPU. Initially when I went to drop the CPU in, it didn't just slide in so I looked at the pins, 2 pins on the edge and 2 pins in the center were bent. If the motherboard gets powered, try removing either the CPU or the GPU and see if the red light goes away (if the other one gets powered).
